11/1/06 - P2 TECH LLC signed an agreement with Switzerland company LAMBDA Laboratory Instrumentsabout collaboration, technical services, and sale of a variety of biotech instruments.LAMBDA develops innovative, high quality laboratory instruments with an excellent price to performance ratio: laboratory fermentor, fermenters, bioreactor for cell culture, peristaltic pumps, syringe pumps, fraction collectors, powder dosing (powder pump), mass flow gas controllers and fermentation software for biotechnology, microbiology, food and agricultural research and development.
Maine Technology Institute AwardedP2 TECH Project (more here)05-09-2006 GARDINER, Maine – The Maine Technology Institute (MTI) board of directors approved 21 seed grants to technology companies across Maine. More than $200,000 was awarded, leveraging over $320,000 from other sources. Thirteen of the 21 awardees are new award winners. Company locations range from Presque Isle to Sanford. P2 TECH in Fairfield will develop a feasibility study based on a novel gene sequence for a drug receptor to trigger a cardio-therapeutic effect. The invention is based on breakthrough biotechnology in the drug target-receptor development with application related to cardio-protection against temporary loss of oxygen supply (I/R damage).
USA – EU Biotech Bridge is Established. Petr Paucek of P2 TECH LLC and Mrs. Sona Benova of Biotechnology Center or South Moravian Innovation Centre established a partnership between two companies. The Gate2Biotech portal was created by the South Moravian Innovation Centre of the Czech Republic with the support of the Czech government agency. Gate2Biotech is a main biotech portal in the Central Europe. The goal of this initiative is to bring USA and EU biotech companies together through networking and develop and expand the biotechnology sector in the USA and Czech Republic and potentially other EU countries.
